I stopped by Russ' yesterday after work and he seems to be in agreement with Bob -- enough with the weight loss. Russ is a doctor and I take his opinion seriously, so I came home and meditated on his words for a while.
After considering his words along with Bob's advice, and a long, honest look in the mirror, I've decided to go ahead and lose another 15-20. If I don't like the way I look, I can always put the weight back on. Goodness knows I have the experience to do that.
So, it's back to bucklin' down and eating leaner again. I've had several days of foods that I've been avoiding and you know what? I really didn't miss them. After all of this I still crave my spinach salads and black beans.
Breakfast - Coffees. Gel Tab.
Lunch - Spinach Salad.
Snack - Caramel Rice Cakes. A few spectacular almonds (soaked in sea salt then roasted.)
Dinner - Bob Evans. 2 dinner rolls - heavenly with honey. About 1/2 of the Chicken Wildfire Salad.

Your blog today concerns me. Being a person who has struggled with anorexia over the years, I am starting to see some of the warning signs. Listen to your doctor or a least talk to another one. Better yet, talk to someone who you don't personally know who can give you and unbiased opinion. The path of anorexia is not a pretty one. It can lead to very serious health effects that are even worse than being over weight. Be healthy, but be careful.
I appreciate your concern. As a former fitness professional, I know the dangers of anorexia and other eating disorders. I can assure you and others that at this point, I am not obsessed with losing weight just 'be pretty.'
Yes, I know that the height/weight charts are outdated, but they're not dangerous. I also know that my body fat is at a solid 20%. During my adult life I have weighed as little as 152 lbs and have been as little as 7% body fat. I do not wish to go back to those places again.
I'll keep a close eye on my weight (trust me, I'm at a point where it isn't just falling off anymore), and I will have a check up with my doctor in a month to see where all of my levels are.
