After looking at yesterday's pictures, I'm shocked at how much food there actually is. That's about half of what I was putting into my mouth two days ago, and it sure doesn't account for the usual afternoon candy bar, the sweets that I'd nibble on at the house or the "right before bedtime" something I'd gnaw on before hitting the sheets. Taking a picture of the food I'm eating certainly slows me down to think about what I'm eating.
Breakfast - 2 cups of coffee (with Equal & a couple of TBs of half & half). Flax Oil Tab. An egg, black beans, 1/2 piece of homemade bread (dry!)
Lunch - Having lunch with Zak & Dan is dangerous. I ate about 4/5ths of a plate of sweet & sour chicken and steamed rice. I didn't eat the fortune cookie. Does that count for anything?
Dinner - Mom & I went out to Caffe Roma. A favorite of ours. The home made wedding soup is amazing. We could have stopped there, but I ordered the sausage w/peppers and onions. AND only ate half of it. The other 1/2 came home. It was delicious and pushing myself away from the table was a bit of a challenge. But mission accomplished - thank you very much.
REACTION: After looking at this post and comparing it to what the author eats in "Everything I Ate", this is still a LOT of food. I need to really redefine how much food I actually need to take in to keep my body alive, but not over feed it.

I hear you on the over eating thing...
Tonight we had steak...
in the past that ment we each had TWO small baked potoatos, and a large 12oz tbone! EACH!
Remembering that a serving size should be the size of your fist, we split ONE 12 oz tbone (we each ate 6oz) and had only one potato, not fully loaded, and we added steamed brocoli to the meal... I ate at a slower pace (this is hard for me to do)
yep totally full, at HALF the amount I normally eat. I have been eating double what I need... and who knows, maybe even triple?
hard to say... we shall see...
